The period described by the source
This document is headed ‘Quarterly report of activities for the year 2023/2024’. It does not identify a particular three-month period. Its activities overlap the dated monthly reports, so this edition retains the source’s broad reporting-year label and does not assign an unverified quarter.
The report presents education, health, protection and livelihoods as connected areas of community support. It describes consultation, home visits and networking with schools, public services and partner organisations as ways of carrying out that work.
Livelihood referrals and project planning
Project proposals and organisational documents were submitted to the North West Regional Assembly and another prospective funding contact. Two people referred to ChrisWOV received training and start-up support, and CVID-Cam visited their business sites. Home visits also provided encouragement and modest practical support.
A planning meeting considered implementation of a poultry project funded by the Regional Assembly. These are distinct stages: a proposal seeks support, a planning meeting organises an intervention, and a visit records what is happening at a particular time. The report does not supply a consolidated total of lasting livelihood outcomes.
Inclusive education and vocational links
The coordinator contributed to a seminar for teachers at ITCIG SENTTI IDNAPS on inclusive education. The organisation also visited Mermah and Frankdel nursery and primary schools to introduce its inclusive-practice work. These contacts were intended to build relationships with educators.
A seven-person CBC Health Services delegation visited in connection with the evaluation of Community Based Rehabilitation interns. The report describes one person learning electronics and further trade placements under consideration. Contacts with NRC concerned birth certificates and identification documents. Proposed placements and applications are retained as such.
Governance and organisational resources
Members held an online evaluation of the second annual general meeting. The coordinator also collected an acknowledgement relating to the application to operate a social welfare structure. The acknowledgement is a step in an administrative process; it should not be described as the final authorisation.
The source describes a volunteer organisation drawing on members’ professional experience, registration and dues, donations and possible grants. It expresses an intention to widen its reach beyond its active area in Mezam. That ambition is separate from evidence of services already delivered elsewhere.
