Learning about documentation

Our coordinator helped mobilise community leaders for a Norwegian Refugee Council seminar on 3 November. The session discussed the importance of birth, marriage and death registration and introduced the organisation’s services. This is a record of the training we attended. It does not establish that documents were subsequently issued to everyone discussed.

Discussing inclusive education

On 9 November, our coordinator was invited to a focus-group discussion about the Community of Practice for Inclusive Education and its work in schools over the preceding two years. Participation in this discussion is recorded; the monthly report does not provide an independent evaluation of educational outcomes.

Two learning and consultation occasions

The NRC seminar brought together 25 community and opinion leaders. The coordinator mobilised six other women leaders and participated in sessions on birth, marriage and death documentation. Presentations introduced the services and roles discussed by the organisers, with questions about practical difficulties faced in communities. The separate six-page seminar account gives its date as 3 November.

On 9 November, the coordinator was invited to a focus-group discussion as a consultant and focal point for the North West inclusive-education community of practice. The purpose was to review the effects of its school activities over the preceding two years. The monthly report records the invitation and purpose; it does not reproduce the evaluation’s findings or establish a measured result for CVID-Cam.
