Following up after referrals
Our record describes visits to business sites after two people referred to ChrisWOV had received training and start-up support. We also submitted project documents while seeking further resources. A submitted proposal records an application; it does not establish that a project was funded or completed.
Home visits and reflection
We carried out household visits on 17 July to listen, encourage and understand support needs. On 18 July, members met online to review the June annual general meeting, discuss what had worked and what needed improvement, and consider the 2023–2024 plan. The monthly account does not provide a programme-wide outcome total.
Project submissions and visits
On 4 July, a project proposal and organisational documents were deposited with the North West Regional Council. Other applications sought support for future work. The coordinator and office assistant also submitted information and an activity report requested by the Regional Assembly. A submission remained a request until a later record established a funding decision.
Two people trained through ChrisWOV received start-up support and were visited at their business sites. Home visits on 17 July provided listening, encouragement and modest assistance to families. The original contains detailed personal histories. This edition records the purpose and kind of contact while keeping those histories private.
Evaluating the AGM
Members met on WhatsApp on 18 July to evaluate the 24 June AGM. The meeting ran from about 8:30 to 10:10 p.m., with ten members and the office assistant recorded. Discussion began with difficulties, then returned to successes, the work plan and the financial presentation.
The coordinator later collected an acknowledgement of the application to operate a social welfare structure from the Bamenda II social centre. The receipt documented progress in the application process. The source does not establish that the final authorisation had been issued at that point.
